Tracy Marie Jackson, CST, FAST

President

2025-2027

Tracy has been a Certified Surgical Technologist for 15 years, CST Educator for 2.5 years and Perioperative Support Service Manager and Central Sterile Processing Manager for 2 years. Tracy has held various positions for ISA since 2015 and Delegate since 2017. On the national level she has obtained the Fellowship of the Association of Surgical Technology distinction in 2021, and currently is Co-Chair for the Bylaws, Resolutions and Parliamentary Procedures Committee. Even more gratefully, she is a wife and mother of 4 children and a fur-baby Morkie.

Eudahnas Crutchfield Hale, CST

Vice-President

Sept 2025 - Sept 2027

Eudahnas Crutchfield has been practicing Surgical Technology since 2014, primarily in the cardiothoracic service. She obtained a BAS in Health Services and is currently a Clinical Educator with IU Methodist. Eudahnas enjoys all things fashion, and in her free time, she enjoys karaoke and creating new candle fragrances for her small business.

Ellen L. Morrow, CST, FAST

Treasurer

Sept 2025 - Sept 2027

Ellen has been a Certified Surgical Technologist for 39 years and a proud member of AST for many years. She graduated from her surgical technology program in 1986 and went on to serve in the United States Navy as a Certified Surgical Technologist for 16 years. Her time in the military strengthened her commitment to excellence, discipline, and service - values she continues to bring to the profession today.

Ellen has served five years as a Director on the Indiana State Assembly Board and is honored to now serve as Treasurer. In this role, she is dedicated to keeping all financial matters transparent and accountable, while working collaboratively to strengthen and enforce laws that protect and elevate the surgical technology profession in Indiana.

With nearly four decades of experience in the field, Ellen remains passionate about advancing the recognition of surgical technologists and ensuring every professional is valued for their skill and dedication in the operating room.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ellen enjoys spending time with family and friends, giving back to her community, and continuing to advocate for the growth and recognition of surgical technology across the state of Indiana.

Mimi Ann Eckstein, CST, CSFA, FAST

Secretary

Sept 2025-Sept 2026

Mimi graduated from IU Health Methodist Surgical Technology program in 2013 then advanced her career by becoming a Certified Surgical First Assist in 2016 through Meridian Institute of Surgical Assisting in Nashville, TN. She has held numerous positions on the ISA Board since 2015 along with multiple committee positions with Association of Surgical Assistants and as an Advisory Board Member for Meridian. Mimi received the distinguished F.A.S.T. honor with AST in 2022 and has been a National Delegate since 2015. Mimi’s hobbies include fulfilling her bucket list wishes, traveling solo and being the best dog mom!

Bruce Lyle, CST, FAST, BS

Bruce M. Lyle, CST, FAST, BS, is a highly respected surgical technologist and educator with decades of experience in the operating room. A Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) and Fellow of the Association of Surgical Technologists (FAST), Mr. Lyle has made significant contributions to the advancement of surgical technology and professional standards in the field.

Holding a Bachelor of Science degree, Bruce has combined his clinical

expertise with a passion for teaching, mentoring countless students and

professionals through his leadership and dedication. He is known for his advocacy for patient safety, continuing education, and excellence in surgical practice. His work has earned him recognition among peers and

a trusted reputation in both academic and clinical settings. Bruce continues to be an active voice in the surgical technology community, contributing to professional development, national standards, and the promotion of excellence in perioperative care.

Jennifer Lynn Worland, CST

Board of Director

Sept 2025 - Sept 2027

Jennifer was born and raised here in Indiana and started her career in 2008 as a surgical technologist after graduating from Career Networks Institute in Costa Mesa,
California where she was Valedictorian of her class. Since becoming a Certified Surgical Technologist she has been a proud member of the AST. Over the course of her career
she has been part of many service lines in the OR but over the past 5 years has specialized in Open Heart.


In June of 2025 she served as a Delegate for the Indiana State Assembly at the National AST Conference in Orlando, Florida. She is passionate about our profession and will strive to meet our goals as a state assembly working together to be a stronger voice surgical technology community and our association.


When she is not hard at work she enjoys spending time with her fur baby Gisi, family and friends, and loves to travel.

Jessica N. Busche, CST

Board Director

Sept 2025 - Sept 2027

Jessica Busche, CST, proudly serves as a Certified Surgical Technologist at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour, Indiana. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Surgical Technology from Ivy Tech Community College. While she assists in a variety of specialties, her primary focus and passion lie in orthopedic and spine surgeries, where she continues to refine her technical skills and teamwork in the operating room. 

Jessica is honored to serve on the Indiana State Assembly Board of Directors and is excited to learn, grow, and contribute to the advancement of her profession. She believes strongly in the value of AST membership and looks forward to helping other technologists feel connected and empowered within their careers.

Outside the OR, Jessica leads a ninth-grade small group at her church, where she finds great joy in mentoring students and encouraging their personal growth. She and her husband of five years share their home in Seymour with two dogs and a lively crew of outdoor cats. A lifelong animal lover, Jessica dreams of one day turning her property into a small petting zoo.

Lora Michelle Hofmann, CST, BSHA

Board Director

Sept 2025 - Sept 2027

Lora is a 2007 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute. After graduation, Lora
began scrubbing at Union Hospital in Terre Haute and St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil. In
2014, Lora took a full-time faculty position for the Ivy Tech Surgical Technology Program. In 2017, she was named Program Chair and also received her Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from St.
Mary of the Woods College. In her spare time, Lora loves attending concerts, Jeeping, and restoring antique cars with her husband. She also enjoys loving on her two Boxers, Jager and Bailey.

Sara Jean Velligan, CST, CSFA

Board Director

Sept 2024 - Sept 2026

Sara started her career in 2003 as a surgical technologist after graduating from Indian River Community College in Florida. She obtained her Surgical Assistant certification in 2013. Sara currently works at St. Joseph Medical Center in Mishawaka, Indiana.
